Resumen
Few South American countries have escaped the consequences of unreliable Bolivian and Argentinean natural gas output in recent years. That uncertainty has promoted fuel diversification, investment in domestic energy resources and the prioritization of LNG over regional gas market integration. It has also, in some cases, improved the business environment as governments try to attract foreign investment.
